The Strategy and Accountability Committee is one of three School Board Standing Committees and is made up of three Board members - all of whom are appointed by the School Board Chair. Strategy and Accountability votes internally to set its Committee Chair, and Vice Chair for one year terms.
The charge of Strategy and Accountability is set out in Policy BCE:
The Committee provides support and guidance to the full Board in the areas of:
Strategic Plan development, revision, and monitoring;
Annual Board Areas of Focus;
Budget;
School capacity; and
Monitoring the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the division.
To find the next meeting of the Strategy and Accountability Committee, please look at the Calendar, Board Docs, or tune in during a Board meeting for the Strategy and Accountability Chair’s report.
