10.22.26 Strategy and Accountability (S&A) Committee Update

At the last meeting on Oct. 15 we discussed:

  • Statewide School Performance and Support Framework (SPSF) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Upcoming changes around the SOL cut scores

  • Note: Postsecondary enrollment will be coming in late fall

  • Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is working through accountability changes over the next few years and we discussed how ACPS can offer its voice in those conversations


For our Strategic Plan this year we are focused on culture in the division

  • Discussed how we could better standardize our calendar and engagement with ACPS staff.


Next meeting on 11/6 with Dr. Runkle and Sophie Huemer focusing on enrollment and to follow up on the upcoming 10/29 Middle School Capacity work session.
