06.11.26 Operational Excellence Committee (OEC) Update

I would like to express my appreciation for the work and successful accomplishments for this year for our committee members, Chair Rief and Mr. Scioscia. I would like to take a minute to highlight a few I am proud of:
Renaming Petitions: We had our first naming, Owen’s Place - Chair Rief, Mr. Beaty, and Mr. Abdalla, were able to attend. I think it was very important for the family and I appreciate the work of all of our staff members for making this happen. This was a powerful effort.
Board Website: We will continue to improve the website, making the information easier to access and giving it a once over now that we have had about half a year with it in operation. We are very proud of this website and the communication opportunities it affords us.
Advisory Committees: We continue to improve the process for our six advisory committees and were very glad to get four annual reports from them. Two of which (Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) and Advanced Academic Services Advisory Committee (AASAC)) were presented here tonight (6.11.26)
Student Reps: We recently selected the new student representatives for school year 26-27 and we want to thank our outgoing student reps for all of their hard work and dedication.
Board Development: Using a detailed survey we recently took, we have highlighted a few areas for our committees to look at next year, agility, resilience, budget, communications and individual learning.
The OEC looks forward to continuing working as a team with the other two committees.
